MCL Managers are regularly sheduled five (5) days per week. In the event a sixth day is worked, an additional day's pay will be issued.
Earnings Incentive Bonus
This program is based on your operation's earnings before taxes. General Managers receive 5.5%, Chef Managers 2.6%, and Service Managers receive 1.7% of their unit's gross profits. Bonuses are paid four times per year.
1 week after 9 months
2 weeks after 2 years
3 weeks after 7 years
4 weeks after 12 years
General Managers and their spouses receive FREE meals at any MCL, at any time. Children are charged half-price. All other Managers receive free meals, and their spouses pay 1/2 price at any MCL at any time. Children are charged full price.
Health Club Membership
MCL pays $200 toward your health club membership each year.
New Year's Day
401(k) Savings Plan
MCL offers the 401(k) savings/retirement plan after one year of employment. The company matches 25% of your contributions up to 6% of your salary.
Medical, Vision and Dental
MCL offers a PPO network plan offering comprehensive medical coverage and a formulary prescription drug plan. Vision Insurance is available after 90 days through Guardian Insurance. Two dental coverage options are available as a voluntary benefit offering both network and non-network providers. You are eligible for full-time benefits after 90 days. MCL contributes 70% toward your major medical premium.
All management employees are eligible for basic Life and AD&D insurance after 90 days. The benefit is one and a half times your annual base pay up to $75,000 at no cost to you.
MCL pays for the cost of a moving van or U-Haul, plus additional miscelaneous costs associated with moving and locating to a new residence.
MCL reimburse 36 cents for every mile you drive your car while on Company business.
General managers receive 3 months at 100% of their base pay. After a 90 day elimination period, General Managers are eligible for Long Term Disability at 66 2/3% of their monthly earnings up to age 65 depending on the type of disability.
All Assistant Managers receive the following:
1 week at 100% of base pay after 3 months employment
2 weeks at 100% of base pay after 6 months employment
3 weeks at 100% of base pay after 2 years of employment
4 weeks at 100% of base pay after 4 years of employment
Assistant Managers with 5 years of service are eligible for Long Term Disability, after a 90 day elimination period, of 66 2/3% of their monthly earnings up to age 65 depending on the type of disability.
Family and Medical Leave Policy
FMLA provides up to 12 weeks in a rolling 12-month period of unpaid leave when you have been employed for 12 months and worked 1,250 hours. Eligible FMLA begins from your last date worked. Any acrued paid sick leave or vacation must be taken while on Family Medical Leave. Such paid leave will be counted toward the 12 weeks of FMLA granted per rolling 12-month period.
